Norco, CA, August 6, 2026 - Over the past 50 years, we’ve learned so much from each person who’s been a part of our history: the specifiers who advocated for us, the collaborators who pushed us to take on new challenges with new technologies, and our employees who make it all happen. 

At our core, QCP is more than a family-owned business spanning three generations—it’s a family. Dozens of employees, both in the office and in the factory, have worked at QCP for decades. We credit so much of this to the heart of our operation, our founder Fred Crook (1939-2024). He taught us to invest in the granular, from locally sourced materials to knowing and caring about each employee he hired. The result? 50 years of commitment to excellence, in business and interpersonally. 

To mark this milestone, we’ve decided to dive into the products, projects, and people who put us on the map. Each month, we’ll put together each piece of the puzzle to give you a complete picture of who we are, what we care about, and where we’re going. It’s a privilege to have served communities nationwide for a half-century, and we’re eager to improve upon our success for the next 50 years.
