Norco, CA, January 9, 2026 - As we look forward to 2026, our 50th year in business, we’re taking a number of lessons learned in 2025. Below, we’re highlighting takeaways from the expansion of popular standard products, new innovations with wood and steel, and custom projects that pushed our craftsmanship to the next level.

What was once a kit of 36 units is now a 96-piece collection ready for your own unique design. New items within the set include bench corners, benches with backs, chamfered corners, and curved walls and corners. With the expansion of this system, we also introduced our free configurator, which allows you to fully envision your ideas long before the specification phase.

We worked with longtime collaborator John Cook to increase the number of offerings in the Kernel collection as well. These organic seating elements are now available in eight different sizes, and can be made with lightweight glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) or our standard reinforced concrete (SRC).

Our most sustainable effort yet, the Echo series embraces our newest core materials: recycled cast aluminum sourced from Downtown Los Angeles and sustainably harvested or reclaimed wood slats. The seats, benches, tables, and bike racks are all about “honoring the past life of materials and transforming them into enduring forms that serve our communities today and tomorrow,” explained Matt Gilio-Tenan, QCP's director of design and marketing.

Last year, the Metro A Line light rail system opened a new stop in Glendora. Artist and Glendora resident Michael Hillman spent about 20 years working on Glendora Home: A Slice of Sunshine, an installation at the station that features three precast concrete columns with intricate tiling.

Just a few blocks south of San Francisco International Airport, Avia Labs is a 315,000-square-foot, six-story, all-electric life sciences development with LEED Gold and Fitwel certifications. SCAPE Landscape Architecture designed a three-tiered system with immersive landscapes, including a streetscape plaza featuring custom QCP benches.

We were honored to announce that we received a 2025 APA Award of Excellence for our contributions to the City of Sunnyvale’s new Civic Center, designed by SmithGroup. The 170,000-square-foot facility was officially designated as the first ground-up LEED Platinum and Net Zero Energy City Hall in the United States.

Kilroy’s massive undertaking at Oyster Point gave us the opportunity to work with premier landscape architecture firm Field Operations. In Phase 2 of this project, Field Operations designed contemporary outdoor amenities with dramatic aggregates.
