QCP recently went back to school, helping to revitalize the University of Southern California’s Trousdale Parkway entrance as part of the university’s campus beautification project.

The pedestrian entrance underwent major improvements to make room for the many new students that will be living in USC Village, the massive housing development expected to open in August of 2017. QCP provided custom precast site amenities, including distinctive Gothic styled pilasters that reflect the historic school’s signature aesthetic.

Other contributions included precast signage, seatwalls and planters created to harmonize with the new surroundings while recalling the classic design principles of Los Angeles’ rich heritage.

QCP partnered with esteemed Southern California landscape architectural firm Fong Hart Schneider Partners of Costa Mesa. Linespace Studio, of Los Angeles, designed the signage. Frank S. Smith Masonry Inc., of Pomona, was the installer.
