It started with the collaboration of QCP and Cliff Garten Studio on a project called Ribbons in San Francisco. The collaboration turned into a relationship, which fostered the creation of a completely new collection of QCP products named AGORA. The newly developed collection was put on full display before the landscape architecture community at a QCP hosted event in the heart of the Arts District in downtown Los Angeles.

The venue, Angels City Brewery, is located in a turn of the century warehouse which was recently revived to become the home of a microbrewery. The industrial architecture provided the perfect backdrop for our new collection of products.

Featured at the event was our entire Shear Collection displayed in Slate Grey. Its attractive curves and functionality provided a perfect space for people to enjoy food from Kai Kai Dumpling or Market Place Burgers, two local food truck favorites.

The rest of the AGORA Collection was featured indoor under 100-year-old beams and set on rustic pallets. The natural light from the warehouse doors highlighted the flowing lines of the Arris Planters which were shown in both Sage Green and Goldenrod Yellow.  At the same time the natural simplicity of the Shiness Planters reflected the aura created by the antique barrels of aging beer stacked along the walls.

We genuinely enjoy hosting events like QCP DTLA 2015 because we believe that the craftsmanship and artistry of the AGORA Collection is most evident when viewed in person.
