QCP is thrilled to welcome Matthew Houser to the team. With great excitement to begin this new chapter of his career, Matthew will be onboarding as our Eastern Territory Sales Manager. His goal will be to expand the QCP brand and infiltrate sales throughout the eastern regions of the US.

"As a former Landscape Architect, a common industry challenge is navigating the many channels of communication between entities involved on each project. Everyone involved whether it’s the product supplier, the specifier or general contractor, understanding your role within a project can be difficult since it’s not always clearly communicated. My intention for each customer is to feel confident when collaborating with QCP and want to specify us on their projects as often as possible. This will be achieved through effectively educating each on QCP’s capabilities and facilitating design conversations from concept through implementation."

Parallel to his career as a Landscape Architect, he commonly finds himself motivated with a new challenge and enticed by new social experiences. Whether as Public Awareness Chair of the IL-ASLA Chapter, summiting Mount Kilimanjaro, new adventures abroad, he never spares a moment of complacency. "These life approaches and passions of mine have made me versatile in communication and team management."

Matthew’s portfolio of work ranges from the Chicago River Walk, to mixed-use developments in Qatar to complex luxury residential design work along the East Coast. As a Chicago Native, Matthew will begin his journey with the Midwest market while ultimately relocating to New York City. 'I have always had the desire to live and work in another city, outside of my comfort bubble in Chicago. QCP could not have presented me with a more motivating and enticing career opportunity to embark on."

We are confident Matthew’s willingness to efficiently take challenges head-on, demonstrated history in the design industry and gregarious qualities, will be fundamental in successfully acquiring new clients out east.
